The Australian National University’s International Relations Society is one of the largest student-run organisations at the ANU. Our members include ANU students, staff and many from beyond the ANU community. Some student organisations are centred on particular degrees or specialisations, but we think the subject matter is all that counts – you only need to be interested in the world around you to be a member of the Society!
Membership is open to anyone – and we are ALWAYS looking for new members!
Many of our members are completing a Bachelor of Arts (International Relations), others have a major in International Relations, and many more are either interested in International Relations as a subject or have a personal interest in international affairs. Others just enjoy the breadth of topics covered by our events, and enjoy the opportunity to find out about all the events we run each year.
Annual membership fees are minimal and are used to support the activities of the Society. Fees for students of the ANU are $3 for 2009; fees for all other individuals (associate members) are $5 for 2009. The main benefit of membership is privileged access to the Society’s events. Members also receive subsidised tickets to Social events (like the Final Dinner)
Please remember that you will need to register again if you were a member in 2008 – come along to our next event and we’ll be happy to sign you up!
